And the last bit of news for today, is the SAG-AFTRA National Board have voted unanimously to send strike authorization to its members regarding Interactive Media or Video Games. SAG-AFTRA members have been striking since the 02 Jul 2023 in the TV, theatrical and streaming services industries. However, video games are handled separately through a contract called Interactive Media. SAG-AFTRA would like to negotiate higher pay rates and protection for its members regarding the use of artificial intelligence and the dangers it that presents in the future. Several game companies are listed in the strike action. What do you think about the effects of artificial intelligence on the different entertainment industries?
