Game Informer released a very detailed preview of Rise of the Ronin. Unlike the previous games released by Team Ninja, Rise of the Ronin will be more realistic in its story and settings. The game will be based in 1863 Japan and events will mostly take place in Yokohama, Kyoto and Edo. Edo was later renamed to Tokyo. Rise of the Ronin will be releasing on the 22 Mar 2024.
