There was speculation that the Fallout TV show was in fact Fallout 5, but Todd Howard shared the story of the upcoming Fallout 5 with the creators of the TV show to make sure that there wasn't any crossover. They have stated that in a way, the Fallout TV show is Fallout 6. The entire season of the Fallout TV show will be released on the 12 Apr 2024 on Amazon's Prime Video.
