Square Enix have released an update for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The update brought quality of life improvements and fixed a bug which prevented players getting the Platinum Trophy, but it also updated the battle retry menu. Some gamers were getting caught out by the menu phrase "Retry this battle", which caused them to reset the entire final boss encounter from the beginning, even though it's multiple phases. Now, the menu makes it very clear when you can retry the current phase of the fight. A performance patch for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is said to be in the works as well.
