In an extensive interview with Video Games Chronicle, Blizzard have stated that they're still considering a console version for World of Warcraft. While the discussions are still ongoing, there isn't any concrete plans yet. World of Warcraft is also celebrating its 20th anniversary, and they already have plans for the next 20 years of World of Warcraft. A console version would allow World of Warcraft to compete with Final Fantasy 14, which has launched on PlayStation and Xbox.
