The developers of Helldivers 2 have released an update to the account linking process. Previously, if you were playing Helldivers 2 on PC, linking your Steam account to PSN was optional. As of the 06 May 2024, it will be mandatory for all new players and the requirement will be extended to all current players by the end of May 2024. It has led to backlash and concern because PSN is not available in all countries. PlayStation have stated that the update is for the security of the players. Have you played Helldivers 2?
