There's speculation that a Code Veronica X and also Resident Evil Zero remake are in development. A Code Veronica X remake has been discussed for a while, but there's been other speculation that Resident Evil 9 has been delayed until 2025, and also about whether a Resident Evil 5 remake is on the way or not. As with all speculation, leaks and rumors, please take it with a grain of salt. There hasn't been any official word from Capcom about any of the Resident Evil news.
