The Death Stranding IP has now changed ownership. Originally, the IP was owned by PlayStation, which gave Hideo Kojima enough money to start his studio Kojima Productions. Now that Death Stranding has been a success, they were able to buy the IP back from PlayStation. After the purchase of the IP from PlayStation, immediately, Death Stranding Director's Cut is now available on Xbox. We are still waiting for more information about the release date for Death Stranding 2 On The Beach, but it will probably be available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
