The reviews have been released for Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The reviews released so far have been very good, saying that the combat builds successfully from the other action combat from previous Yakuza games. This game is more action based like Like a Dragon Gaiden rather than turn based, which you might see in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth. IGN also noted that while there is pirate combat in the game, the maps that you'll be sailing around are very simplified compared to other games such as Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
