A Chinese mobile company released a game called Pocket Monsters. However, they filled it with assets ripped directly from the Pokemon games. As a result, the Pokemon company did a copyright infringement lawsuit against them and won. The Chinese company now has to pay Nintendo more than $13 million in compensation and also stop selling the game. Do you think copyright law is a good thing?
