The Director of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series had an interview with Automation. During the interview he gave an update about the progress of the development of the third game in the series, saying that the game already has a lot of playable content, that the development is going very well and that they've confirmed the name of the third part but they haven't announced it yet, and that the team is united to deliver a third and final high quality send off for the series. He also spoke about the sales of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which was the second game of the series, saying that while it didn't meet expectations, it's still continuing to sell well. They're hoping the ports, which are releasing on Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 will sell well as well.
