The next FIFA game is going to be developed by a small studio, which is owned by Netflix. FIFA had a long running licensing agreement with EA to make their games, but that fell through a couple of years ago, and since then EA have been releasing FC Sports games. The FIFA franchise will now be handed over to a different developer, and apparently said game will be released before the next World Cup, which will be taking place Summer 2026.
