PlayStation games might play themselves in the future. That's according to a patent from Sony where gamers will be able to use AI technology to play games for them if they get stuck. The idea is that a ghost character will come into the game and assist you if you need it. Other PlayStation games that came out in the last couple of years, like God of War Ragnarok, were very heavily criticized because the companions would help you finish puzzles, when the puzzle started, without giving the player a chance to work it out themselves.
