Apparently, the PlayStation 5 Pro is going to get a very big upgrade. While the upgrade will be software based, it will allow for more features to unlock on the PlayStation 5 Pro, including improved image quality and increased frame rates, unlocking frame rates for games that were previously capped, and boosting the resolution of classic games. Apparently, said upgrades are going to be announced during the first quarter of 2026. When we get an official announcement from PlayStation, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News.
