Square Enix have announced that a new version of Final Fantasy 7 will be released on Steam. The current version of Final Fantasy 7 will be renamed Final Fantasy 7 (2013 Edition), and if you own it, you'll get the new version for free. Once the new version comes out, you won't be able to buy the 2013 edition of the game anymore. We currently don't know why it's being released, what's going to be updated and when it's going to be released.
