After asking a lot of game developers in the annual State of the Game Industry Survey, more than twice as many developers would like to develop on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 than on Xbox. The survey, which is managed by the Game Developer Conference, shows that PC development is still the dominating platform for games from developers. The Game Developer Conference allows game developers to meet up and interact with each other. The Game Developer Conference 2026 will be happening between the 09 and 13 Mar 2026.
