The original Resident Evil trilogy is now available on Steam. The trilogy came out on GOG a couple of years ago and was completely DRM free, but the Steam version, which is available quite cheaply, does contain DRM. DRM is supposed to prevent piracy, but a lot of the DRM software that has been used lately has led to a lot of performance issues in games. For example, the DRM used in Resident Evil 4 Remake was removed after player complaints. Do you understand the purpose of DRM?
