Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
The Crew 2
The Crew 2 is having a free weekend so you'll be able to download and play the game for free until the 21 Nov 2021. I will be checking it out because I love playing The Crew 2. If you don't know what it is. It's a racing game created by Ubisoft. It came out some time ago, but it's always being updated with new tracks and new features and there is a progression system as well. The more you win races, the more gear you can get to upgrade your cars and so on. There is a really nice community behind The Crew 2 as well.
Nintendo Switch Games Sale
And then the next bit of news for today is Nintendo has announced a cyber sale for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo of Europe tweeted out saying "The Nintendo eShop Cyber Deals sale is live. Save up to 75% off Nintendo Switch titles such as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Tetris Effect: Connected and hundreds of other games. And it speculated that there's upwards of 1000 games discounted on Nintendo Switch. If you've had any game on Nintendo that you've been eyeing for a while, it might be available cheaper. And this sale apparently is going to be going on until the end of the month. It's your chance to look and see if there's any deals that you want to grab.
Xbox Evaluates Activision Blizzard Partnership
And then the last bit of news for today is Xbox Boss Phil Spencer is calling into question and evaluating all aspects of their relationship with Activision Blizzard because of the ongoing allegations against the CEO Bobby Kotik. Now I don't want to go too far into it because I've reported on it several times in the past, but basically there's still drama going on at Activision Blizzard to say it mildly. They are still fighting for better leadership in order to handle the situation at Activision Blizzard, so that the situations that happened in the past don't happen again in the future. That's the shortest way I can explain it. We'll see if that turns into anything. And apparently there's also been pressure coming from PlayStation Boss Jim Ryan as well. This is quite serious. If these massive platforms, massive companies maybe are questioning their relationship with Activision Blizzard. I hope it can all be resolved sooner than later.
Conclusion
That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
