Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

PlayStation Acquires Bungie

PlayStation has acquired Bungie, so you might have noticed all the announcements yesterday. They released on the PlayStation Blog a full release about the acquisition, how Bungie is going to retain their creative freedom and independence, and also they will remain multiplatform with the games that they're releasing. Bungie is responsible for launching the original Halo game as well as the Destiny series, so hopefully it will be a good partnership. Personally, I am surprised that they weren't acquired by Xbox given how monumental the original Halo was for the original Xbox. It's good that they are given the power to recruit more talent to their team and also they can hopefully share their own expertise and experience with PlayStation.

PlayStation Discord Integration

And the next bit of news for today is PlayStation and Discord have announced that you are now able to connect your PlayStation account to your Discord so you can share what game you're playing on Discord live from your PlayStation. But to do that, login to Discord, go to User Settings, click on Connections and then you're able to log in and connect your account. It's up to you if you want to share the activity with your friends. I think it's a nice feature. It's cool they've added that in.

Bloodborne PSX Release

And the last bit of news for today is Lilith Walther tweeted out saying "Bloodborne PSX is now available to download. Get it here. Thank you for your support over the 13 month dev period. It means so much to me." Bloodborne PSX is a demake of Bloodborne, which means they have taken the game back to the PlayStation 1 era rather than upscaling it. And it's completely fan made, not affiliated with Sony, not affiliated with PlayStation, or FromSoftware at all. Completely fan made. From what the reactions have been so far, people are reacting to it very positively. If you want to check it out, be sure to give Lilith for a follow on Twitter and download it and try it out.

That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
