Blizzard have announced Warcraft Arclight Rumble, which is a mobile game based in the Warcraft universe. It's a tower defense game and yesterday they showed a trailer of what the game will look like, as well as spoken in more detail about it. Typically for mobile games, tower defense games tend to do quite well. You can take the example of Arknights, for example. That's done incredibly well. We will see if this mobile game works well for Blizzard and the fans.
And the next bit of news for today is the release date for Thymesia has been announced as the 09 Aug 2022. It is a souls like game that's being created by OverBorder Studio and published by Team 17. If you like souls like games, I thought the trailer for this looks really interesting, so I will hopefully be trying it at some time in August.
And the last bit of news for today is Ubisoft posted an update about Prince of Persia Remake saying "Hello Prince of Persia fans. The development of Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake will now be led by Ubisoft Montreal, the very birthplace of the epic Sands of Time trilogy. This decision is an important step and the team building upon the work achieved by (the other Ubisoft Studios) and will now take the time they need to regroup on the scope of the game to deliver the best experience for this remake of an all time classic. when it's ready. We want to thank you for your continuous support and patience throughout the development. Rest assured that we will update you on the progress in a future update." As per always paying more attention to the quality of games and more time for polish is always a good thing and it's something I'm really happy to report on.
