Yanako_RPGs has tweeted out saying "It's here the announcement of Dokimon and a new game making engine specifically made for Monster Tamer games. This is the new era we all deserve. Limitless monster tamer games, made for gamers, by gamers." And along with a trailer, she's launched a Kickstarter campaign which is about halfway to its goal. And she said that the Kickstarter money that is generated will be used to help with art creation. If it looks like your sort of game and you want to support this project, then feel free to head over to Kickstarter and look for it. And the next bit of news for today is Naoki Yoshida released an update about the use of Third Party Tools in Final Fantasy 14. He said, "As stated in the terms of service for Final Fantasy XIV, the use of third party tools is strictly prohibited. Players who are determined to be using third party tools will have their account suspended or permanently banned or repeat offenses." And then they went on to define what counts as a third party tool. From experience, given that I've played Final Fantasy XIV for eight years, the content creators and the gamers who use third party tools do not care what the rules are. Also as well, they have been blantantly been using them for years. Also as well, some Free Companies (Guilds) require their use in order to help them clear, for example, raid dungeons and so on. There has been reports of a couple of content creators getting suspended recently, but unless the rules are applied equally and fairly to all cases where it's determined to be happening, it will just keep happening, simple as that. And the last bit of news for today is Nick Baker was speaking on the XboxEra podcast, and he said "Remember that there was a rumor mill a while back where I said that there is another Microsoft franchise that's getting the Master Chief Collection type treatment. I am of the belief that it's coming this year." And there has been rumors going around that it's actually about Gears of War. Gears of War might be getting a Master Chief-style Collection later this year. If more details come out about that soon, I'll be sure to share it on the Gaming News.
