SEGA tweeted out saying, "Live Broadcast to announce Sega's new project will be delivered from 8:00 p.m. on 03 Jun 2022." There's speculation that it could be the next mini console. They've already released the Game Gear Mini and the Sega Genesis Mini. And now there's speculation that the next one will be a mini Dreamcast. We will see if we get information about it soon and I'll be sure to report it on the Gaming News when we find out. The next bit of news for today is some God of War Ragnarok merchandise was spotted on Geeky Zone in the UK with a release date of the end of September 2022. It has since been removed and there is now a lot of speculation about whether it will be the potential release date of the game. There's been so many rumors over the last few months, I think we have to just wait and see. We'll see if they announce anything during the State of Play in a couple of days time. And the last bit of news for today is the Embracer Group have announced the Embracer Group Gaming Archive, which now contains more than 50,000 retro games and consoles. Recently they acquired Tomb Raider and Deus Ex from Square Enix. But they're looking to acquire a lot of games, even if they are just copies of the games. And they have sent an open invitation that if you have a collection of retro games, they might be interested to buy them. They have an email address on the website. And I think preservation of gaming history is is very important for the long run. Phil Spencer, who is the head of Xbox, has stated the same thing.
