After the reveal of the Necromancer class and more details about Diablo 4, content creator Gothalion tweeted out saying "Diablo IV looks great. Excited for this to not have mobile style monetization. Full crossplay is huge too." And then Adam Fletcher who is the global community lead for Diablo replied to him saying "Diablo 4 is coming out as a full price game built strictly for PC and console audiences. The game is huge and there will be tons of content after launch for all players. Paid content is built around optional cosmetic items & eventually full expansions. We will be sharing more info soon." There is concern after the backlash of Diablo Immortal that anything that Blizzard make will be full of monetization options like in Diablo Immortal, but hopefully Diablo 4 won't.
The next bit of news for today is Phil Spencer has announced a partnership with Hideo Kojima to produce a game for Xbox. There previously was a rumor that it will be a horror game called Overdose and the main character will be played by Margaret Qualley who played Mama in Death Stranding, but if more details about it emerge in the future, then I'll be sure to report it. And the last bit of news for today is Focus Entertainment have revealed that A Plague Tale Requiem will be having a release date reveal event on the 23 Jun 2022 at 6 p.m. Central European Time, which is 5 p.m. in the UK. Definitely, I've been waiting a long time for any details about A Plague Tale Requiem. There previously was a rumor that A Plague Tale Requiem will actually be launching this month, but I guess for now if we can find out the release date, that's good enough for me.
