According to an interview with Video Games Chronicle, Takao Yamane, who is a 20 year Nintendo veteran, has been hired by PlatinumGames to be their new Chief Business Officer and they're hoping to establish a stronger relationship with Nintendo with him on board. Hopefully, it will just lead to better games. The next game from PlatinumGames I'm looking forward to is Bayonetta 3. And the next bit news for today is Square Enix Montreal, which was recently bought by the Embracer Group, have rebranded to be Studio Onoma. They are working on mobile games including Tomb Raider Reloaded, Deus Ex and other mobile games. They are a mobile focused game studio, so good luck to them and hopefully with the Embracer Group giving them autonomy over the IPs that they own, they'll be able to make better games in better conditions. And the last bit of news for today is Pawel Sasko, who is the Quest Director behind Cyberpunk 2077, has confirmed that CDPR is creating a new American studio based in Boston who are going to primarily work on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel. Good luck to them. Hopefully, the new studio will establish well and will work well for the employees. And I'm looking forward to more news about Cyberpunk 2077.
