2023 2022 2021 | Jun May Apr Mar Feb Jan Next Previous

Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Cyberpunk 2077 Settlement

CDPR has settled another class action lawsuit against Cyberpunk 2077 and Investors. The investors claim that they were misled up until the release of Cyberpunk 2077, which had a rocky launch and they have been awarded $1.85 million in compensation. I personally think that number is very low given the momentous disaster of the launch but since then the game is in much more stable condition and plays a lot better.

One Piece Odyssey Demo

And the next bit of news for today is the Producer of One Piece Odyssey has said that a demo for the game will be released on the 10 Jan 2023, a couple of days ahead of the full games release and save data from the demo can be transferred to the full game as well. If you're interested, be sure to check it out when it releases.

Steam Player Record

And the last bit of news for today is according to SteamDB, Steam itself has broken its all time player usage record hitting 32 million players logged in and more than 10 million players in game. As Gaming continues to grow, then hopefully there'll be more investments and more amazing games will come out.

Conclusion
