Exit 8 was originally a psychological horror game where you had to spot anomalies while you walk down a corridor and turn around if you find them. The goal of the game is to not be fooled by any anomalies and find your way out of Exit 8. The movie adaptation was first announced in Dec 2024, and the most recent trailer was demonstrated during the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Exit 8 will be releasing in Japan on 29 Aug 2025, with an international release following during Sep or Oct 2025. Would you watch an Exit 8 movie? That price is justified because the game is short in length, about 15 hours. The game was created by an indie studio called River End Games with only 16 people behind it.
