Two free games have been announced for New Year's 2026 on the Epic Games Store. You'll be able to redeem them between now and 08 Jan 2026 at 4 p.m. UK time, which is 11 a.m. Eastern. The games are Total War Three Kingdoms and Wildgate. Are you interested in either game? And the next bit of news for today is apparently a AAA game is in development based around John Wick. It was rumored a while ago but apparently now it's been confirmed by a Lionsgate Executive. He also announced that a game based around the Saw IP is in development and both games will be announced very soon. When we have official details about the John Wick AAA game, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Which John Wick movie do you like the most? And the last bit of news for today is The Bloober Team and Konami have released a cryptic message to promote a countdown for a game reveal on 16 Feb 2026. I asked Google Gemini Pro to try and decipher the message and it believes that it will be a story expansion for Cronos The New Dawn. There was a lot of speculation that it will be information about Silent Hill 1 Remake, but again Google Gemini has given reasons why it doesn't think it will be. Of course, taking AI's opinion about anything is dangerous at best.
