Larian Studios did an Ask Me Anything about the upcoming Divinity. They compared it a lot to Baldur's Gate 3 because Divinity is going to be moving away from the Dungeons and Dragons ruleset. Instead they're going to be making their own ruleset, which is designed specifically for Divinity, but that will enhance it further, make it more enjoyable for players. They also spoke about the use of Generative AI and confirmed it won't be used to generate any art for the game, but might be used in other areas. They confirmed that co op will be available on release and that they're already working on mod support for the game as well. Whether mod support will be available or not at release, we'll have to wait and see. They also spoke about the size of the team, saying that they had just over 400 people working on Baldur's Gate 3 and now they have more than 500 people working on Divinity. When we know the release date of Divinity, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Have you played Baldur's Gate 3? And the next bit of news for today is the size of the open world of Crimson Desert has been confirmed on an interview during the New Game Plus Showcase 2026. The philosophy behind the design of the game was spoken about, saying that it caters to both hardcore and casual players. For example, someone who only has an hour after work to play will have plenty to do versus someone who might play the game for 12 hours. Crimson Desert's open world will be bigger than Skyrim and even bigger than the open world of Red Dead Redemption 2. The game itself will be releasing on the 19 Mar 2026. Are you interested in Crimson Desert? And the last bit of news for today is Square Enix might have accidentally revealed what the next Final Fantasy remake is going to be. The Director of Final Fantasy VII Remake has spoken about the direction of the series with it coming to a conclusion soon, but has also said that he would like a different Director to take on the reign of any potential Final Fantasy 6 Remake. Square Enix haven't confirmed what the next Final Fantasy remake will be or if there will even be one. If there's any confirmation in the future, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Which Final Fantasy game would you like to see be remade?
