Blizzard Entertainment have announced major updates for Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 is going to be renamed to simply Overwatch to emphasize its forever nature. Also, they're going to be adding 10 new heroes and the game will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the very beginning of Season 2. Which hero do you like the most in Overwatch? And the next bit of news for today is the next Nintendo Direct has been announced. There will be a Partner Showcase that will focus on any future releases for the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Nintendo Switch from third party developers, which means developers who are not Nintendo themselves. It will be broadcast on 05 Feb 2026 at 6 a.m. PT, which is 2 p.m. for us in the UK. Which Nintendo Switch game are you most looking forward to? And the last bit of news for today is the release date of The Witcher 1 Remake has been delayed. The developer of the remake, Fool's Theory, apparently has been reassigned to put more priority on The Witcher 4. There's also apparently a DLC releasing for The Witcher 3, which will bridge the gap between The Witcher 3 and The Witcher 4. In the meantime, The Witcher 1 Remake apparently has been delayed until 2028. When we know the release date for it, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News.
