Bungie have announced different updates, which will be coming to Marathon. For now, the AI controlled characters are apparently so difficult even the well known content creator Shroud, who has experience as an eSports player, cannot believe how difficult they are. There's also been a lot of backlash against Marathon because of the structure of their microtransactions. Bungie released a statement to say that they are addressing both concerns. Are you interested in a game like Marathon? And the next bit of news for today is Ubisoft have announced various updates coming to Tom Clancy's The Division 2. It will include crossplay being implemented for the first time, a rebuild of the survivors mode, classified assignments will be returning and also a new DLC will be released for the game during 2026. As a result of these announcements, the concurrent Steam player base for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has gone up more than 400%. And the last bit of news for today is apparently Nagoshi Studio, who is the developer of the upcoming Gang of Dragon is in financial trouble. NetEase is now refusing to fund them and funding for the studio will end in May 2026. That's according to an article on Bloomberg. NetEase has also said that if another developer steps in to take over the game development, they also have to buy out all the assets created so far. Gang of Dragon was initially premiered at The Game Awards 2025. If another game developer steps in to fund the game and it gets a release date, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. The game is being headed up by the creator of the Yakuza franchise, Toshihiro Nagoshi. NetEase have said that they will probably need another $44 million in order to finish the game.
