Video Transcript

Pokemon GO apparently has made $5,000,000,000 over the last five years. When it first came out, there were stampedes of people in different countries playing it. So it's not a surprise to me that has made so much money. So if you've ever not seen Pokemon Go, it's basically like an augmented reality type game with your phone. Basically, you go around your neighborhood and you capture Pokemon. But the way augmented reality works simply is that you'll have your camera, you'll see obviously straight through your camera. And then it will put graphics on the real world. And that's how they're able to do things like they place a Pokemon here, they place whatever there you catch. And so on. So again, like I said, no surprise. And then the next PlayStation state of play will be tomorrow on 08 Jul 2021. And apparently it's going to be focusing on the game Deathloop as well as indie games. So I might check it out and I'll report on it. And then the last bit useful today, Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Switch OLED, which is basically a Nintendo Switch with an increase size seven inch screen. So it's not exactly the Switch Pro people were hoping for because people were hoping for a Nintendo Switch that's capable of 4K graphics and all the rest of it. But that's what we have for now. So they announced that yesterday.
