Call of Duty Vanguard was announced yesterday. They did an in-game event in Warzone where you queued in with up to 32 players and you took on an armored train. If you managed to get the armored train down, then you were greeted with a trailer in game. Or you could have been like myself and just gone on the YouTube channel on the Call of Duty official channel and you'd have seen the trailer the second they uploaded it. Call of Duty Vanguard will include its own campaign, a new multiplayer mode and its own zombie mode and stuff like that. It's kind of more of the same of what we expect to see with Call of Duty and is going to be released 05 Nov 2021. I was kind of underwhelmed by the initial trailer they showed, but it's the CG trailer based on the story. We haven't seen any sort of real gameplay yet, but they have said that most likely that it's going to share the technology and engine and everything like that with Warzone. If you're an active player within Warzone, you will have a firm grasp already of what Vanguard is going to be like. Whether that's good or bad, we have to just wait and see. 05 Nov 2021 is the date for when that's going to be released, and it's going to be released on PlayStation, on PC and Xbox is going to be on previous-gen and current-gen as well. Whether there's cross-compatibility or cross-play with the multiplayer, I didn't look into that, but we will see. The next bit of news for today is Quake has been remastered randomly and you can now just buy the remaster on Steam for $10. Now, if you already owned Quake on Steam, then you'll be able to download the upgrades for free. Simple as that. And it will feature 4K graphics, 60 FPS, all the bells and whistles that you see in any sort of modern remaster and even widescreen support. If you're interested, if you are like me, you played Quake back in the 90s and you want to relive it with 4K graphics and know that that is now an option for you. And then the last bit of the news for today is the upcoming Kung Fu souls-like game Black Myth Wukong has been updated to support Unreal Engine 5. Initially it was announced with Unreal Engine 4 and the previous trailers were of Unreal Engine 4, but a new trailer has now been released of it supporting Unreal Engine 5. We don't have a a release date for the game yet, but so far from what I've seen, it looks really good, at least graphically. How it will play, so we have to just wait until we get our hands on it. I am impressed with what I've seen so far. The game is being developed by a studio called Game Science, and they're based in China. I am very curious. I am very curious to see how the game turns out. Simple as that.
