Nintendo Deny 4K Switch Pro in Development, PS Plus...

2023 2022 2021 | Dec Nov Oct Sep Aug Jul Next Previous

Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

PS Plus Games for Oct 2021

The PlayStation Plus games for October 2021 have been confirmed, so they're gonna be Hell Let Loose on PlayStation 5, Mortal Kombat X on PlayStation 4 and PGA Tour 2K21 on PlayStation 4. The way PlayStation Plus works is as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription, you can download any games you've previously added to your PlayStation Plus collection, and you're able to add new games every single month. They're not added automatically. You have to manually add them. These are the games that are available. Sometimes some of the games they add are wonderful. Like Final Fantasy VII Remake and so on. But then other months people complain to me about how bad the games are, but whatever like, just know that those games are coming.

IKEA at TGS

The next bit of news for today is IKEA is going to be attending the Tokyo Game Show. I reported a few days ago that IKEA is actually working on some gaming based furniture. Like standing desks and stuff like that. They feel confident about their range enough so to go to the Tokyo Game show to show them off. I'm personally waiting to see the standing desk and everything they announced because they're working with ASUS ROG to make this collection because basically I've been sitting down so long as a fulltime content creator that my legs have disintegrated, so having a standing desk will at least help. We'll see what they announce.

Nintendo Deny 4K Switch Pro in Development

And then the last bit of news for today is there's been a rumor going around, especially from reports from Bloomberg that Nintendo have been sending out 4K development kits for Nintendo Switch games, so it has led to this speculation and rumor that a Nintendo Switch Pro is coming out with 4K graphics. However, Nintendo has disputed it forthwith and they've actually released a statement to their investors. It says "A news report on September 30 falsely claimed that Nintendo is supplying tools that drive development for a Nintendo Switch with 4K support. To ensure correct understanding among our investors and customers we want to clarify that this report is not true. We also want to restate that as we announced in July, we have no plans for any new model other than the Nintendo Switch OLED, which launched on October 8, 2021." There's been ongoing speculation about it for so long, but Nintendo have basically outright said this is not true. There's no 4K Nintendo Switch coming out and so on.

Conclusion

That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
