Nintendo have released a statement saying reports a 4K Switch Pro is in development despite rumours, PS Plus games for Oct 2021 have been confirmed, and IKEA is attending the Tokyo Games Show 2021 (TGS).

PS Plus Games for Oct 2021

The PlayStation Plus subscription service continues to provide exciting game offerings to its members each month. October 2021 is no exception, as Sony has confirmed the lineup of games that will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The selection includes Hell Let Loose for PlayStation 5, Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 4, and PGA Tour 2K21 for PlayStation 4.

PlayStation Plus is a subscription-based service that offers various benefits to its members. One of the primary advantages is the ability to download and play a selection of games at no additional cost. These games are referred to as the PlayStation Plus collection. As long as a subscriber maintains an active PlayStation Plus subscription, they can access and play the games they have added to their collection. Furthermore, new games are added to the lineup every month, providing subscribers with fresh gaming experiences.

It is important to note that the games are not automatically added to a member's collection. Subscribers must manually add the games to ensure they are available for download. While some months bring exciting and highly acclaimed titles like Final Fantasy VII Remake, there may be other months where the selection may not resonate with everyone. However, it is essential to understand that game preferences can vary greatly among individuals, and what might not appeal to one person could be a beloved title for another.

The PlayStation Plus service has gained a reputation for providing a diverse range of games, catering to different genres and player preferences. This variety ensures that there is something for everyone, allowing subscribers to explore new titles they may not have considered otherwise. The subscription service has become an excellent way for players to discover hidden gems and broaden their gaming horizons.

IKEA at TGS

In recent news, IKEA, the renowned Swedish furniture retailer, has shown its interest in the gaming industry. Reports emerged a few days ago that IKEA is working on a line of gaming-based furniture, including standing desks and other gaming accessories. The company appears to be confident in the quality and appeal of these products, as they are planning to showcase them at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show (TGS).

The decision to participate in TGS highlights IKEA's commitment to providing functional and ergonomic furniture solutions for gamers. Many avid gamers spend extended periods in front of their screens, and having comfortable and customizable furniture can greatly enhance their gaming experience. IKEA's foray into the gaming furniture market is an exciting development, and fans are eager to see what innovative designs and features the company will unveil.

As part of their gaming furniture collection, IKEA has collaborated with ASUS ROG, a prominent gaming hardware brand. This partnership signifies IKEA's dedication to creating products tailored specifically for gamers' needs. The collaboration with ASUS ROG is expected to result in gaming furniture that seamlessly integrates with high-performance gaming setups, providing both aesthetics and functionality.

One product that has garnered significant attention is the standing desk, which aims to address the health concerns associated with prolonged sitting. As a content creator who spends long hours seated, the author of this article expresses personal interest in IKEA's standing desk and eagerly awaits its announcement. The prospect of being able to switch between sitting and standing while working or gaming is appealing, as it promotes a healthier lifestyle and mitigates the adverse effects of sedentary behavior.

The gaming industry has witnessed a surge in popularity and cultural significance in recent years. As gaming becomes more mainstream, companies like IKEA recognize the need to cater to the specific demands of gamers. By offering furniture designed with gamers in mind, IKEA aims to establish itself as a leading provider of gaming-related products, ensuring that players can create immersive and comfortable gaming environments within their homes.

Nintendo Deny 4K Switch Pro in Development

Rumors and speculation surrounding the release of an upgraded Nintendo Switch model have been circulating for some time. Recently, reports from Bloomberg suggested that Nintendo had been distributing 4K development kits to game developers, fueling anticipation for a rumored Nintendo Switch Pro with enhanced 4K graphics capabilities. However, Nintendo swiftly dispelled these rumors, issuing a statement to investors and the public to clarify their position on the matter.

The statement released by Nintendo categorically denied the existence of a Nintendo Switch model with 4K support. In response to a news report that falsely claimed Nintendo was providing tools for 4K development, the company stated, "To ensure correct understanding among our investors and customers, we want to clarify that this report is not true." Nintendo reiterated their previous announcement from July, confirming that the only new model they had planned was the Nintendo Switch OLED, which was launched on October 8, 2021.

While rumors and speculation often surround highly anticipated gaming consoles and upgrades, it is crucial to rely on official statements from the companies involved. In this case, Nintendo has unequivocally stated that there are no plans for a 4K Nintendo Switch model. It is not uncommon for false information to circulate within the gaming industry, particularly when it comes to highly anticipated releases. Fans and consumers should exercise caution when interpreting rumors and wait for official announcements from the companies themselves.

The Nintendo Switch has proven to be a tremendously successful gaming console since its initial release in 2017. Its unique hybrid design, which allows users to switch seamlessly between handheld and docked modes, has resonated with gamers worldwide. The system offers a diverse library of games, combining beloved Nintendo franchises with a wide selection of third-party titles.

While fans may have been eagerly awaiting news of an upgraded Nintendo Switch model with enhanced features, such as 4K support, it is important to respect the company's official statements. Nintendo's denial of the rumored 4K Switch Pro indicates that consumers should focus on enjoying the current offerings of the Nintendo Switch lineup, including the newly released Nintendo Switch OLED model.

In conclusion, the October 2021 PlayStation Plus games provide another exciting lineup for subscribers, showcasing the diversity of gaming experiences available through the service. IKEA's presence at the Tokyo Game Show indicates their commitment to the gaming community, as they prepare to unveil their gaming furniture collection. Meanwhile, Nintendo's denial of a 4K Switch Pro underscores the importance of relying on official statements when it comes to rumors and speculation in the gaming industry. As the gaming landscape continues to evolve, players can look forward to new experiences and innovations that enhance their gaming lifestyles.
