App Store Gaming Profits
Hello guys and welcome to the Gaming News for 04 Oct 2021. It was revealed during the Apple versus Epic lawsuit that during the 2019 fiscal year, Apple made something like $8.5 billion from gaming on the Apple App Store. Now Apple themselves have disputed this number, saying that that is just basically the amount of revenue that was generated. It doesn't take into account the costs and the actual profit that was made. And that number is still huge, though, because they said that through analysis that's more money than Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Activision combined have made. Who are basically all of the major players in gaming, and I'm sure that there's a similar story when it comes to Google's Play Store and Android phones, but I guess we'll find out later about that. It's interesting to actually have a number of how much (revenue) Apple is actually making, in case you've ever been curious about it.
Genshin Impact Razer Collab
The next bit of news for today is miHoYo, who is the developer behind Genshin Impact, has partnered with Razer to sell a Paimon based gaming chair. But if you're interested in Genshin Impact gaming merch then know that that is available.
FF7 First Soldier Release Date
Then the last bit of news for today, is during the Tokyo Game Show it was revealed that Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, which is a battle royale game based in the Final Fantasy VII universe, is coming out in around November time. I guess next month. If you didn't know, Final Fantasy VII is going to have its own battle royale game, and there's already been a couple of trailers revealed that show what it looks like and so on. If you're interested, then know that that is coming soon. Anyway, guys, that's it for the Gaming News for today. Nice and short and sweet for today. Thank you as always for all the new followers coming on to the feed and I will see you tomorrow. Thanks, guys. Bye bye.
