Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

New Mass Effect Game

Mass Effect is going to have a new game and it's been officially confirmed. The official Mass Effect Twitter tweeted out "We have have another #N7Day surprise for you from the team working on the next Mass Effect. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world!" and the picture shows "Mass Effect Will Continue". If you've been waiting for a sequel after Mass Effect Andromeda know that it's coming. When, where and so on, don't know, just know that it's in the works.

Metal Gear Solid Sales Pause

The next bit of news for today is Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Solid 3 are going to be temporarily suspended from sales. The reason why is because the games contain historical footage, archive footage which are not really related to the games, but they have to be licensed. Before the games can continue to be on sale, that bit of footage in each game needs to be licensed as simple as that. Until they do, the games have to be taken off sale. It's an unfortunate side effect of licensing, but hopefully they'll be back on sale sooner than later. They are classic games. I would recommend all of them. I have played all of them. They are really good. I did report actually a few days ago that Metal Gear Solid 3 might be being remade completely. Again, we will see what happens with that.

Forza Horizon 5 Player Numbers

And then the last bit of news for today is Forza Horizon 5 is already boasting 800,000 concurrent players, even though officially the game doesn't even come out until tomorrow. It's been in Early Access last couple of days and a lot of people are really enjoying it. They're marveling at how good the graphics are. They're really enjoying running around in the game version of Mexico and driving around and so on. It seems it's going really well. For anyone that's enjoying Forza Horizon 5, I hope you continue enjoying it. And for those on the fence about it, I do actually use huge amounts of players as an indication that the game is actually good personally, but let me know what you think about it as well.
