Dead by Daylight Free, Cyberpunk 2077 Positive Steam Reviews, Dying 2 Know Episode 5 | Gaming News

Dying 2 Know Episode 5

Hello, guys, and welcome to the Gaming News for 27 Nov 2021. The fifth episode of Dying 2 Know, which is the podcast from Techland about the upcoming Dying Light 2 will be broadcast on the 02 Dec 2021 at noon PT, which is 8 pm BST and it will feature a new 15 minute gameplay trailer of the game. Dying Light is a zombie survival game which can be played in co op as well. I would say it's one of the better zombie survival games. I love the first game. I'm actually looking to revisit it very, very soon and I'm definitely looking forward to the second one, so more details the better.

Cyberpunk 2077 Positive Steam Reviews

The next bit of news for today is Cyberpunk 2077 actually apparently had a good day, which sounds strange to say almost. Pawel Sasko, who is the quest designer at CD Projekt Red for Cyberpunk tweeted out saying "Last days Cyberpunk 2077 received a flood of very positive reviews on Steam from the new players. You can't imagine what it means to me", and CD Projekt Red themselves have said that they're going for the long game, but they think the more that they fix it over the long term, Cyberpunk will still sell well. The Witcher 3 came out years ago and it's still selling very well. And to put in perspective, GTA 5, which came out like eight years ago now is still selling millions of copies, constantly selling new copies. It is definitely a good idea to keep updating really big games and especially big open world games, because over the long term it could be a cash cow for the different game devs.

Dead by Daylight Free

The last bit of news for today is Dead By Daylight will be available for free on the Epic Games Store between the 02 Dec 2021 and the 09 Dec 2021. It's going to be next week's free game on Epic Games Store. All you literally need to do is just open the Epic Games Store, go to the store during that time, redeem it for free and it's on your account forever. You don't have to pay for any membership, you don't have to do anything else. And Epic Games do that at their own expense simply because they want more people to be on the Epic Games Store. It's a tactic they've been using for a very long time now and it seems to be working. Anyway, guys, that's it for the Gaming News for today. Thank you so much for the new followers as always. And I'm also seeing a huge amount of new traffic on my Facebook page, so thank you very much for that. The increases are in the tens of thousands of percent, so I really appreciate that. Thank you guys and I will see you tomorrow. Bye bye.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have played hundreds of games in my life and have experienced truly amazing games. As time has passed and games continue to evolve, I want to share my gaming adventures with the world so you can improve your gaming experience too.

There are several gaming franchises I love experiencing a lot such as Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, God of War, Uncharted, Yakuza, Assassin's Creed, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Xenoblade Chronicles and more.

In 1997 when I was 12 years old, a class mate of mine asked me, have you ever played Final Fantasy 7? I was like no, what’s that? He lent me his copy, and I remember on the first night I escaped Midgar after not being able to put it down for 5 to 6 hours even though it was a school night. Shortly after I finished the game and my gaming obsession was truly planted.

Towards the end of 1998 I played Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time. It was a revelation to me, given its combat, story telling, music and satisfying ending. It also gave a hint of what open world could look like given how “huge” Hyrule Field was, which was massive for the time. After nearly 25 years, Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time still sits at the top of my favourite games of all time list.

When I went to University during 2003 to 2007, it was the era of Half Life 2. I remember spending a portion of my student loan so I could get a gaming pc powerful enough to play it.

During that time I also started my adventures in MMOs including Final Fantasy 11 and World of Warcraft. It amazes me that they are still online to this day.

After leaving University, I like most people ended up in the 9 to 5 cycle, after a year of being stuck in the “no job without experience, no experience without a job”. At the time I was still living with my parents and I got distracted on girls for a while. My love for gaming never ended though, with it always being a fall back for me.

In 2013, I started my first YouTube channel, as a way to also document my time in the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn. I had seen some YouTubers who made really good videos. For me, at the time, it was a hobby to do on the evening and weekends, I never went into it thinking one day it would be my job. I would have made videos, even if it made no money at all.

After 10 years of multiple jobs, living a very miserable existence in the 9 to 5 cycle, it all abruptly ended in 2018 with my disability of severe anxiety preventing me from commuting to London to work any more.

During the Pandemic, a lot of people were losing their jobs, and there was a lot more time to produce videos and play games. While growing as a content creator, I noticed my Instagram page had little to no content. One day I picked up my phone and recorded a video talking about gaming as it was my favourite hobby.

As I have now played hundreds of games and my passion has evolved for the last 30 years, I see my love for gaming lasting until the day I die. Games have made me laugh, made me cry, and everything in between. The recent price increases have definitely dampened gaming for most gamers, but I am in a privileged position as an Independent Gaming Journalist to receive a lot of games for free from developers and publishers to review.

I hope I can always bring the highest quality Gaming News every day, in digestible 1 to 1.5 minute summaries, to share the passion I have always had for it.

There is a lot more to my gaming history than what I've written above and if you want to talk to me about it feel free to pop by my Twitch Live Stream sometime and say hello!

I started in August 2013 as a hobby, and went full time during 2018.

Being a YouTuber, Streamer, or Content Creator is not the primary goal. I am working to enjoy my life and remain independent. I do not want to spend my life taking orders from other people.

I have 10 years commercial experience as a website and database developer that I can fall back on. I was able to develop this entire website using my experience.
