FFXIV Endwalker Early Access, The Matrix Awakens...

Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Paper Mario 64 on Switch

Nintendo is going to be adding Paper Mario 64 to the Expansion Pass for the Nintendo Switch on the 10 Dec 2021, next week. They are adding to the Expansion Pass as time goes on. There is apparently a whole list of other games they've set to add to the Expansion Pass in the future and I'll be sure to report it when it happens. It's your chance to relive some of the Nintendo 64 classics on the Nintendo Switch if you want to remember what it was like 20 years ago.

The Matrix Awakens Leak

And then the next bit of news for today is a leak has shown that a game called The Matrix Awakens will be coming out to coincide with the next Matrix movie called Matrix Resurrections, which is coming on the 22 Dec 2021. What we know so far is that The Matrix Awakens is an Unreal Engine 5 experience set to complement the movie, so we will see what it's like. There really isn't that much more information about it, so we have to just wait and see.

FFXIV Endwalker Early Access

And then the last bit of news for today is Final Fantasy XIVs latest expansion Endwalker has now entered Early Access. If you've preordered the game, it's your chance now to jump in three days early from the official release date to check the expansion out. Now there isn't any restrictions about what you can or can't do or anything like that, so just enjoy. I'm hopefully going to be jumping in and checking it out as well.
