2024 2023 2022 2021 | Dec Nov Oct Sep Aug Jul Jun May Apr Mar Feb Jan Next Previous

FFXIV has launched Patch 6.08 with some job adjustments and the introduction of the Oceanic data center called Materia, Elden Ring goes gold with a month left until release of the game, and Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin has received it's Final Trailer as well as a release date of 18 Mar 2022.

Stranger of Paradise Release Date

Square Enix released a trailer for Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, and it's the final trailer for the game. They also announced that the game will be released on March 18, 2022. This highly anticipated release has garnered mixed reactions from fans and gamers alike. While some people are really excited for it, there are also many who are not as enthused. We will have to wait and see how the game fares upon its release.

Personally, I had the opportunity to play the demo and I must admit that I was not impressed. The gameplay and style of Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin are not really my cup of tea, especially when compared to the exquisite experience of Final Fantasy VII Remake. However, it's important to remember that a demo might not accurately represent the final game, and there could be significant changes and improvements that will be implemented. Therefore, it would be premature to completely write off Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin based solely on the demo. We should keep an open mind and give the game a fair chance when it finally releases.

Elden Ring Goes Gold

In other gaming news, Elden Ring, the highly anticipated collaboration between FromSoftware and G.R.R. Martin, has officially gone gold. For those unfamiliar with the term, when a game goes gold, it means that it has reached a stable enough state for production. This milestone indicates that Elden Ring is ready to be burned onto gold master discs and prepared for retail distribution.

The fact that Elden Ring has already gone gold is particularly exciting considering that its release is still a month away. This means that the development team now has additional time for final polish and bug fixes before the game hits store shelves. It's always reassuring to see a game reach gold status, as it indicates that the final product is nearing completion and is hopefully a polished and enjoyable experience. Fans have been eagerly anticipating Elden Ring, and with it going gold, the excitement is reaching fever pitch. Now, all that's left is to wait and see if the game lives up to the immense hype and expectations surrounding it.

FFXIV Launches Patch 6.08

Moving on to the world of Final Fantasy XIV, the popular MMO has recently launched Patch 6.08. This new update brings several changes and additions to the game. One of the most significant updates is the introduction of the long-awaited Oceanic servers. Players in the Oceanic region have been eagerly waiting for a dedicated data center, and with the launch of Patch 6.08, their wishes have finally been fulfilled. This new data center, named Materia, will provide a better gaming experience for players in the Oceanic region by reducing latency and improving overall server stability.

Alongside the introduction of the Oceanic servers, Patch 6.08 also includes various job adjustments. These adjustments aim to balance and enhance the gameplay experience for different jobs and classes within the game. Players can review the patch notes to gain a better understanding of the specific changes made to their preferred jobs.

For Final Fantasy XIV players who have been patiently waiting for an Oceanic-based data center for a long time, this update will bring about a new phase of excitement and opportunities. It will now be possible for players in the Oceanic region to transfer their characters and experience the game with reduced latency, enabling a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience. This update marks a significant milestone for Final Fantasy XIV and shows the dedication of the development team to meet the needs and demands of their player base across the globe.

In conclusion, the gaming industry is abuzz with exciting news. Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin has announced its release date, Elden Ring has gone gold, and Final Fantasy XIV has launched Patch 6.08 with the introduction of the highly anticipated Oceanic servers. Gamers and fans will have much to look forward to in the coming months, with the hope that these upcoming releases and updates will live up to the expectations and deliver memorable gaming experiences. It's an exciting time for the gaming community, and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
