Shenmue the Animation is releasing today, which is going to be an anime of the original Shenmue game. If you are a fan of the original Shenmue game and you were fascinated with the story way back when on the Dreamcast, then the anime looks pretty good, so be sure to check it out on Crunchyroll and it's made by Adult Swim. The next bit of news for today is Dying Light 2 launched yesterday and while it has been seeing quite large success, they tweeted out saying, "Dear gamers, thank you for your feedback. Two things on top of our list, disconnects in coop mode and problems with redeeming rewards, codes and other in game content including Twitch Drops from TechlandGG. Our team is on it. We will update you on the progress." Because I look at these games as an opportunity to coop with friends and I've not been able to so far because it just doesn't work. When I try and connect, it just rolls and rolls and rolls forever. Hopefully, they will fix it so I can get into the coop and me and my friends can have fun exploring the game because I'm having fun with it so far. And the last bit of news for today is Rockstar have posted an update blog on their website detailing that the next gen version of GTA 5 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on the 15 March 2022 and that development of the next game, potentially Grand Theft Auto 6, is well underway. Some people have already been sarcastic about it, saying that it took them eight years to confirm the development of GTA 6 and all these rumors about development hell and so on. I might jump into it next month. It's been a long time since I played GTA 5. I just hope it doesn't have the same launch issues that we saw when the GTA Trilogy came out.
