Sifu Release Date, Dying Light 2 Hotfixes and...

2023 2022 2021 | Dec Nov Oct Sep Aug Jul Jun May Apr Mar Feb Jan Next Previous

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Path of Exile New Player Record

Path of Exile tweeted out saying "we have officially reached a new record. There are more players currently playing Path of Exile Siege of the Atlas right now compared to any time in Path of Exile's 10 year history. Thank you so much for your support." An expansion called Siege of the Atlas recently came out and it has revitalized the game and it's made it more popular than ever. If Path of Exile is your thing, be sure to check it out.

Dying Light 2 Hotfixes and Updates

And the next bit of news for today is Dying Light tweeted out saying "Hello survivors. We have implemented some hot fixes over the weekend and we'll be continuing to add more in the coming days. Thank you for your incredible support and patience. Here is our plan for the upcoming week." And feel free to pause the video. They've attached screenshots which detail the fixes for PC, for PlayStation and for Xbox. I personally am still waiting to jump back into Dying Light 2 because for me personally, coop doesn't work. Dying Light 2 right now is boasting some of the highest concurrent players ever for the game. And it's even right now doing better than Halo Infinite at peak, which is great because Halo Infinite (multiplayer) was actually a free to play game. Dying Light 2 is not. It shows the amount of people who have purchased Dying Light 2. I hope they can fix it. I'm really frustrated by rocky launches of games, I really am. But hopefully we will get the experience that we all deserve soon.

Sifu Release Date

And the last bit of news for today is Sloclap's game Sifu is launching tomorrow on the 08 Feb 2022. Sifu is a take on martial arts games blended with a kind of roguelike element. What happens is you go through the game, you can fight your way through it. If you die, then you become older, but then you become more powerful and have a little bit less health. If you reach 70 plus then you die and that's it. You have to restart the game and there are some skills and upgrades you can unlock permanently which will help you during your journey. It looks like a really interesting game. You might have seen a couple of streamers having early access and playing the game already, but officially it's launching tomorrow so if you want to check it out, feel free to do so.

That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
