According to Variety, the film and gaming rights for The Lords and Rings is going to be going on sale. And Amazon is tipped to be the frontrunner to acquire them because they're currently working and have invested hugely in the TV show, which is coming out later this year. And speculation is that the sale might generate upwards of $2 billion. If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, know that we might get more announcements for Lord of the Rings games at some point in the future. And the next bit of news for today is yesterday there was a Nintendo Direct which had a myriad of new announcement trailers, including a Chrono Cross remaster. And Jason Schreier, who is a reporter at Bloomberg tweeted out saying "The Chrono Cross Remaster being real means that per the Nvidia leak, a Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster, Final Fantasy IX Remake are also on the way." Obviously that's speculation, but we will see if any of those come true. And the last bit of news for today is the standout trailer from the Nintendo Direct yesterday for me was Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I've played Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I absolutely loved it. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one. It's coming out in September of this year.
