ANNO Mutationem has had a release date of 17 Mar 2022, announced for PlayStation 4, 5 and PC, and they released a trailer for the game. If you're interested in side scrolling Cyberpunk games, then know ANNO Mutationem might be for you. And the next bit of news for today is the CEO of PlatinumGames, who are the creators behind games like Bayonetta had an interview with Video Games Chronicle and part of what he said was talking about NFTs, which includes "The people who are trying to promote NFTs and partner with gaming companies, their conversations seem to be extremely onesided, 'hey, you're going to make money', but how does it benefit the user or the creator? If I want to spend my time on something, I want it to benefit making good games." It's great to see another game company talking out against NFTs. I've covered it several times now on the Gaming News and I hope that they keep a firm stance and just prioritize making great games, I think that's the most important thing. And the last bit of news for today is Bandai Namco announced that along with Red Bull Levels, they are doing a preview stream for Elden Ring on the 19 Feb 2022 at 4 p.m. Central European Time, which is 3 p.m. UK or 10 a.m. Eastern. They said that they're going to reveal a lot of information about the game. They're going to allow some content creators to play their own class and try and get far with their own class. And there's going to be more unannounced details about the game. If you can't wait for more information about Elden Ring or you just can't wait for the release date, then know that that event is coming up in a couple of days.
