Elden Ring Growing Popularity, Dying Light 2 Big...

Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Dying Light 2 Big Patch

Dying Light tweeted out saying "Dear players, on top of hotfixes, we are working on a big patch for PC and consoles. This patch will introduce fixes for deathloop, ragdoll animations, user interface, and much more. We aim to make it available for PC gamers next week, while consoles might get it a few days later." I'm personally still waiting to really jump into Dying Light 2. I got it when it first came out, but the co op wasn't working and I really don't want to hamper my first experience of the game just exactly for the same reason why I've not touched Cyberpunk 2077 until now. Hopefully, they can keep fixing the game and when it's solid and perfect, I'll jump into it.

Elden Ring Growing Popularity

And the next bit of news for today is Elden Ring is actually becoming more popular. It has been out for more than a week now and looking at Steam DB, the numbers are trending upwards rather than falling off like you see with most games. And I think the reason why is because a lot of people are playing the game so much they're trying to turn over every stone and search every nook and cranny and even when they finish the game, they then just start the game with another class. Right now, Elden Ring is enjoying a massive amount of success on PC.

GTA 5 Next Gen Details

The last bit of news for today is the next gen version of Grand Theft Auto 5 is going to be coming out on 15 Mar 2022 with different graphic modes available. For Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the main one that you probably want to target is performance ray tracing mode that will target 4K resolution, 60 FPS, and Ray Tracing. That won't be available on Xbox Series S because it's a bit weaker so it can't support it. I know right now that people are begging for any sort of news about Grand Theft Auto 6. Hopefully, I can report it sooner than later.

Conclusion

That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
