Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Sons of the Forest Delayed
Endnight Games, who is the developer behind The Forest and its upcoming sequel Sons of the Forest tweeted out saying "Hey Everyone. Over the past few weeks we have realized that our May 2022 release date for Sons of the Forest was overly ambitious. To be able to deliver our vision of the next step in survival games, we've decided to move our release date to October 2022. The team at Endnight." As I've said so many times on the Gaming News more time for polish and to make sure they release a great game is a good thing.
Diablo Immortal Class Change
And the next bit of news for today is the upcoming Diablo Immortal, which is the mobile version of Diablo 3, has had a blog post on the official Blizzard website which speaks about upcoming features, including the ability to change class. You'll be able to change class on the fly by returning to the first town. You'll retain all your progress, your level, your gear, and so on. All you have to gather again is Legendary gear specific to the class you've changed to, so if you're looking forward to it, it should be coming out, hopefully, this year. You can already opt in for the beta. It's been planned for a while. Blizzard tend to have a policy of releasing games when they're ready rather than to a fixed schedule, so hopefully we'll be able to play it and also Diablo IV at some point in the near future.
PS Plus Apr 2022 Free Games
The last bit of news for today is Dealabs have shared what they believe to be the upcoming PlayStation Plus games for April 2022, which include Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Slay the Spire, and SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom. They tend to release the information just a few days before it's officially announced.
Conclusion
That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
