Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Rovio Classics Angry Birds
Angry Birds tweeted out saying, "Hey, it's your childhood speaking. Through the years, you've grown and we've grown too but some things will always stay the same. Rovio Classics Angry Birds is finally back for you to enjoy." This is a classic version of Angry Birds. It will cost $0.99, but it will include no microtransactions, no in-app purchases. It's the classic relaunch of the game in case you want to experience Angry Birds as it was when it originally came out.
LEGO Star Wars Release Date
Then the next bit of news for today is LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is launching tomorrow, and it's promising to be the biggest LEGO Star Wars game so far. And there's a lot of new features to the game, including the ability to play in almost any order you like in terms of the worlds. You can go from Episode 1 to 3, or 4 to 6, or 7 to 9, it's up to you. You'll be able to control spaceships and fly around and discover upgrades around the map and so on. I'm definitely looking forward to playing it.
PSVR 2 Showcase Rumour
And the last bit of news for today is Tom Henderson tweeted out saying "Sony sent out a new email yesterday named 'Introducing PlayStation VR2.' There was a similar email a couple of weeks prior to the PlayStation 5 Pre-Launch, too.' And he goes on further to say "It could be something or it could be nothing. It's just interesting given the timing of everything." This is a rumor that there might be a PlayStation VR2 Showcase soon. We'll see if that happens. I'll be sure to report it if it does.
