PlayStation are recruiting for a Senior Director in charge of PC Planning and Strategy. They are committed to expanding the PC games which are coming from PlayStation. It mostly involves taking the established PlayStation franchises and turning them into PC games and then we'll see if they come up with original games for PC as well. You can look through the job spec, you can see what they're looking for, and then hopefully they will keep pushing the PC strategy and PC implementation. And the next bit of news for today is Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is coming to PC on the 20 Jun 2022, according to an article on the Epic Games website. It will include Uncharted 4 and Legacy of Thieves, which were both recently remastered and released on PlayStation 5. I actually played them on PlayStation 5. I thought they were brilliant. If you've been waiting to jump in on PC and finally want to jump in to those games, then you won't have to wait much longer. And the last bit of news for today is Square Enix have revealed a Final Fantasy 6 statue on their merch store. It is a one sixth scale replica of the Magitek that appears in the game. However, it costs 1.45 million Japanese yen, which is equivalent to about $11,500, or just under £9,000. YunalesckaGames, who is a diehard Final Fantasty fan tweeted out saying "12k? As a diehard collector, as someone who has literally devoted their entire wallet to the series for 30 years, this is one thing I can't afford. Of course, it has to be my favorite character and game of all time, right?" And even Hironobu Sakaguchi, who is the creator of Final Fantasy tweeted at Square Enix, essentially saying, "Are you okay?". In Square Enix's defense, the quality of their merchandise statues is of extremely high quality. I'll give them that. However, I would say to anyone, do not spend $11,500 on a statue. Just don't do it.
