Square Enix Acquision Rumours

There's even more rumors and speculation about a possible Sony acquisition of Square Enix. That's following an interview with the Eidos Montreal founder by gameindustry.biz. Eidos Montreal was one of the studios that was sold recently by Square Enix. And the founder goes on to explain that he thinks part of the reason why it was sold was so that the company can get ready to be acquired.

PSVR 2 Features

The next bit of news for today is PlayStation have revealed features of the PSVR 2. That was via a blog post that they posted on their website. They explained how there will be a see through view so you can press a button on your controller to be able to see through the VR so that you don't have to worry about falling over things. And also as well you'll be able to customize your play area so that if you go outside it again the PlayStation VR will give you warnings to make sure you don't crash into things.

PS Plus August 2022 Free Games

The last bit of news for today is Dealabs have leaked the PlayStation Plus free games for August 2022, which includes Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2, Yakuza Like A Dragon and Little Nightmares. If you have PlayStation Plus Essentials or higher, which is basically any PlayStation Plus, then you might be able to redeem these games. As with all leaks and rumors, please take it with a grain of salt until it's officially confirmed by PlayStation.
