Bungie have disabled text chat in Destiny 2 PvP while they investigate an exploit, Google confirmed that Stadia is not closing down, and Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will get a gameplay demo soon.

Stadia Not Shutting Down

Replying to someone on Twitter, Google confirmed that Google Stadia is not going to be shutting down. There's been rumors going around the last few days about whether it's going to shut down, when it's going to shut down and so on. But for now there isn't any news but if that changes, I'll be sure to report it on the Gaming News.

Google Stadia is a cloud gaming service developed and operated by Google. It allows players to stream video games on various devices including smartphones, tablets, computers, and televisions. Since its launch in November 2019, there have been speculations about the future of Stadia. Some critics and naysayers predicted that it would eventually shut down due to various reasons such as a lack of games, poor performance, and competition from other gaming platforms.

However, Google has refuted these rumors and clarified that Stadia is here to stay. The company believes in the potential of cloud gaming and is committed to continuing its development and support. While there might be challenges along the way, Google remains dedicated to providing a seamless gaming experience to its users.

Stadia offers a unique approach to gaming by leveraging the power of cloud computing. Instead of relying on traditional gaming hardware, players can access and play games through an internet connection and a compatible device. This allows for greater flexibility and accessibility, as gamers are no longer constrained by the limitations of physical hardware.

Despite the initial skepticism, Stadia has gained a loyal user base and continues to expand its game library. With titles ranging from popular AAA games to indie gems, Stadia offers a diverse selection of gaming experiences. The service also features various subscription plans and pricing options to cater to different user preferences.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Demo

The next bit of news for today is Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is going to have a gameplay trial in the near future, as well as many other features that you can expect from these sort of games. Think of games like Nioh, for example. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out. It's probably going to be incredibly difficult to play, which is typical of souls like games, but hopefully it will be very fun as well.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is an upcoming action RPG developed by a small indie studio. Inspired by games like Nioh and Dark Souls, it aims to deliver a challenging and immersive gaming experience. The gameplay trial, which is essentially a demo version of the game, allows players to get a taste of what the full game has to offer.

In the demo, players will be able to explore a portion of the game's world, engage in intense combat encounters, and experience the game's mechanics and features. This is a great opportunity for players to decide whether the game is something they would enjoy and want to support.

The souls-like genre has gained popularity over the years for its punishing difficulty and rewarding gameplay. It requires players to master intricate combat systems, study enemy patterns, and strategize their every move. Wo Long Fallen Dynasty aims to capture the essence of this genre while introducing its own unique gameplay mechanics and storyline.

As an avid fan of this genre, I am eagerly anticipating the gameplay trial of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. I expect it to challenge me and provide a sense of accomplishment as I overcome difficult encounters. I am also excited to see how the game's story unfolds and what secrets the fallen dynasty holds.

Destiny 2 Exploit Explained

The last bit of news for today is there was an exploit in Destiny 2 PvP that was allowing exploiters to disable and even crash the clients of opponents via the text chat. As a result, Bungie has disabled the text chat completely on all platforms while they investigate the issue and hopefully can fix it.

Destiny 2 is a popular multiplayer online shooter developed by Bungie. The game features a competitive multiplayer mode known as PvP (Player vs Player), where players can engage in intense battles against each other. However, recently an exploit was discovered that allowed malicious players to exploit the text chat feature to disrupt gameplay.

The exploit involved sending certain messages or commands through the text chat that would cause the game client of the opponent to freeze, crash, or become unresponsive. This gave the exploiters an unfair advantage in PvP matches, as they could essentially disable or hinder their opponents through these malicious actions.

To address this issue, Bungie has decided to temporarily disable the text chat feature in Destiny 2 PvP. This measure is aimed at preventing further abuse of the exploit while the developers investigate and find a solution. It is crucial for a fair and enjoyable gaming experience that such vulnerabilities are identified and patched as soon as possible.

While disabling the text chat might reduce the risk of exploitation, it also limits communication and coordination between players during matches. However, Bungie has assured the player base that they are actively working on resolving the issue and will reinstate the text chat feature once it is safe to do so.

In conclusion, today's gaming news covers important updates regarding Google Stadia, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, and a recent exploit in Destiny 2 PvP. Despite rumors of Stadia shutting down, Google has confirmed that the service will continue to be supported. Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is preparing for a gameplay trial, offering a taste of its challenging gameplay. And, Bungie has taken necessary steps to address the exploit in Destiny 2 PvP, temporarily disabling the text chat while investigating a fix. Stay tuned for more updates on these and other gaming news.
