Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Xbox First Party Games
The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has said that not enough first party Xbox games came out during 2022, but plenty will be coming out during 2023. Personally, I'm looking forward to Hellblade 2 and there's a lot of hype around Starfield, so hopefully next year will be better for first party releases from Xbox.
Silent Hill 2 Remake Features
And the next bit of news for today is the Bloober Team has spoken about the advantages of the PlayStation 5 exclusivity for Silent Hill 2 Remake, including being able to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 features, including the fast loading from the SSD, the haptic feedback, the adaptive triggers and more. The game is being rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. I personally haven't never played Silent Hill before, so I am looking forward to the remake.
Alan Wake 2 Release
And the last bit of news for today, is Remedy Entertainment released their latest financial statement and they spoke about Alan Wake 2 being released during 2023 and the other projects that they're working on, including a Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 Remake and also a sequel to Control, as well as a potential spin off for Control. When there's more information about any of these games, I'll be sure to report on the Gaming News. I'm looking forward to all of them. They're all, in my opinion, fantastic games.
