Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
God of War Ragnarok Sales
God of War Ragnarok has sold 5.1 million copies in its first week, making it the biggest launch for a PlayStation game in PlayStation's history. Thank you very much to PlayStation for giftng me a copy of the game to review, I've been loving it so far. I completed the story and I'm working on the Platinum Trophy. If you're interested in playing it, I would highly recommend to check out the previous game God of War (2018) first because it's a continuous story.
Callisto Protocol Season Pass
And the next bit of news for today is The Callisto Protocol will have a season pass, which will include new story elements as well as new death animations. There was some speculation from a report from IGN, which made people think that some of the death animations will be held back unless you get the season pass. But Glen Schofield who is the CEO of Striking Distance Studios, who is the developer of the game, clarified on Twitter that no death animations are going to be held back from the main story. They're talking about new death animations, which they are going to make specifically for the season pass, which haven't even been developed yet.
Witcher 3 Next Gen Upgrade
And the last bit of news for today is CD Projekt Red went on live stream to talk about the different quality of life changes and upgrades, which are coming to the next gen update for The Witcher 3. And they spoke in detail about the different elements and how they came to be. The update itself will be available for free on the 14 Dec 2022. I am looking forward to checking it out.
That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
